Open Innovation Challenge

3.1. Transforming workplace through CSR approach: Aéroport de Bordeaux-Mérignac (ADBM)

CSR approaches suggested to ADBM:

  1. Launching the "Bordeaux Airport Hub" - a community-building digital platform for the 240 employees of Bordeaux Airport.

  2. Transitioning Bordeaux Airport to a fully paperless operational model.

  3. Developing an engaging and educational acculturation program to foster the adoption of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies among Bordeaux Airport employees.​

I gained experience in:

  • Developing and implementing digital platforms and tools to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.

  • Driving organizational transformation towards sustainability and paperless operations

  • Designing and executing employee-centric programs to foster a culture of corporate social responsibility.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver complex, multi-faceted projects.

  • Collecting and incorporating employee feedback to continuously improve program offerings.

  • Effectively communicating and promoting new initiatives to drive adoption and participation.

The knowledge and skills acquired through these projects have equipped me with a well-rounded understanding of digital transformation, sustainability, employee engagement, and change management in the context of a large organization like an airport.

Enhancing Customer Experiences Through Digital Integration and Strategic Brand Partnerships

The key suggestions given were:

  1. Enhancing the in-store experience for pharmacies by implementing interactive displays, kiosks, and digital tools to create a seamless omnichannel experience, improving customer engagement by 20%.

  2. Leveraging post-purchase AI to analyze customer data and provide personalized health recommendations, increasing post-purchase engagement by 25% and customer retention rates by up to 95%.

  3. Establishing strategic partnerships with sports brands to co-develop products integrating Withings' health monitoring technology, driving sales growth, expanding customer base, and enhancing brand perception for both parties.​

The tasks learned and knowledge gained from this project include:

  • Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and consumer trends in the connected health devices and sports technology markets.

  • Developing implementation plans for integrating digital tools, AI technologies, and brand collaborations, considering technical challenges, customer adoption, data security, and regulatory compliance.

  • Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of recommendations, such as customer engagement, satisfaction, retention rates, and sales growth.

  • Collaborating effectively in a diverse team to deliver strategic recommendations tailored to Withings' business objectives.

  • Enhancing problem-solving skills by anticipating potential contingencies and proposing mitigation strategies.

  • Gaining insights into the importance of customer-centric approaches, personalization, and leveraging AI in the healthcare and sports industries to drive innovation and competitiveness.

Overall, this project provided valuable experience in strategic analysis, digital transformation, AI integration, and brand partnerships, equipping me with knowledge and skills applicable to various industries focused on enhancing customer experiences and driving business growth.
